Join Arts Council Wood Buffalo for the culminating showcase of our 2026 Artist in Residence, Lori Claerhout.
Over the course of her residency in Wood Buffalo, Lori has developed a new body of work inspired by her experiences in the region, exploring themes of food procurement, preparation, and consumption. Through printmaking and sculptural work, Do You Have Everything You Need? considers food as not just sustenance, but as a source of comfort, connection, and a way communities come together.
The evening will feature an exhibition of Lori's residency work and will include an artist talk offering insight into her creative process, the ideas that shaped the project, and the experiences that informed her time in Wood Buffalo. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with the artist, explore the exhibition, and celebrate the conclusion of this year's residency.
