Mile Zero Dance returns to Fort McMurray with Connections//Collisions, a cabaret-style performance celebrating movement, artistry, and creative expression.
Featuring performances by Rebecca John, Vinz Hernandez, Mpoe Mogale, and Janita Frantsi, the evening brings together a range of contemporary dance and performance works that explore personal, social, and imaginative themes through movement and storytelling.
Featured performances engage with topics including mental health, depression, hoarding, obsessive compulsion, psychiatric health care, helplines, gut health, queer identity, and demons and monsters from South Asian and Southeast Asian folklore. Audience discretion is advised due to the mature and potentially sensitive subject matter.
Connections//Collisions will take place following the 2026 Wood Buffalo Dance Showcase.
