Explore the art of collage during this free, hands-on workshop with artist Brenda Carter at the Jubilee Gallery.
Suitable for all skill levels, this welcoming workshop offers participants the opportunity to learn collage techniques, connect with fellow art enthusiasts, and create in a relaxed and supportive environment. No supplies are required, although participants are welcome to bring magazines or paper clippings to personalize their artwork.
The workshop is presented in conjunction with Brenda Carter's exhibition, My New Normal, which reflects her personal journey as a brain cancer survivor currently in remission. Through textile art and fabric collage, Carter explores themes of resilience, healing, and transformation, sharing how art became an important source of therapy during some of life's most challenging moments.
