Emma Carter is a multidisciplinary artist from Fort McMurray, Alberta. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Theatre from the University of Victoria and is currently completing a Certificate in Visual Design, specializing in Art Theory and Practice, through the University of Calgary.

Emma’s work is influenced by pop culture is interested in dismantling cultural hierarchy. She practices art as a means of connecting with her inner child and not taking herself (or anything else) too seriously.
