This print features my mixed-media collage ‘Tides of Trauma” which is 1 of 3 glow-in-the-dark artworks currently exhibiting at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery in the Collective Threads showcase (August 10 - September 14, 2025).

This piece is came as a result of a long, dark winter coupled with working through some long-time repressed emotions and feelings. Channeling all that energy into this piece while listening to The Cure’s latest album, I was able to create something deeply layered and beautiful - just like life. It’s meant to showcase the strength we have to “suck it up” and keep moving, but also a comment on how bottling it up can lead to an over-all flood.

The original was made on a canvas with magazine clippings, shells, paint, foil, glitter, and glow-in-the-dark paint coming together in a bright, textured, and playful design. Printed on 8.5×11" matte photo paper, it’s full of detail and color, ready to pop into your favorite frame.
