This print features my mixed-media collage ‘At Closer Inspection’ that was selected for the cover of the Arts Council of Wood Buffalo’s 2024 Annual Report.

The piece is meant as a reimagining of reality, exploring the tension between modern society/life and the acceptance of art as an integral part in the balance. The weaving of the sepia industrial images with the colourful playful imagery visualizes that tension, and the woman looking from above represents the analysis and control of perception.

The original was made with magazine clippings, gems, and glitter, coming together in a bright, textured, and playful design. Printed on 8.5x11" matte photo paper, it’s full of detail and color, ready to trim and pop into your favorite frame.
