Description
Created right after the height of the pandemic, this piece is a reflection on how the constant connection to the internet leads to a cloud of doom that can overshadow real life. Isolated inside with the constant barrage of negativity online through comment sections, headlines and cancellations impacted mental health negatively for many of us - and we’re not sure it’s gotten much better.
The original was made on the back of an old vinyl cover layered with magazine/book clippings, paint, glitter, and glow-in-the-dark paint coming together in a bright, textured, and playful design. A digital image was then taken, and tweaked in Adobe Photoshop.
Printed on 5x7” matte photo paper, and re-embellished with glitter, gems & glow-in-the-dark paint - ready to trim and place in your favourite frame. (Pre-cut for framing square with an overlap, if desired - will also lay flat.)
*Each print is unique! Embellishments may vary from print to print.
