Are you passionate about film and eager to gain hands-on experience? This is your chance to be part of an exciting documentary project!

Rendering Visions is seeking a dedicated Film Intern for our upcoming documentary about the creation of Arts INC and the future of the arts in Fort McMurray.

Key Details:

  • Dates: July - September (primarily evenings and weekends)

  • Compensation: Paid internship on a per diem basis

  • Application Deadline: July 3rd

 

What You’ll Learn:

  • Build your skills on a documentary film set during principal photography

  • Gain valuable insights into the editing process in September

  • Connect with the vibrant local art scene in Fort McMurray Experience the behind-the-scenes magic of film production (and learn just how much caffeine aids a production – coffee runs may be required)

 

What You'll Do:

  • Assist crew with equipment - movement, set up for filming and striking after filming

  • Tracking of documentary scenes/shots and interview questions based on call sheet

  • Run errands for crew as required within city limits (coffee, consumables, drop offs). Cost of fuel will be reimbursed

  • Light administrative duties as required (Filing, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Reader).Updating of existing documents as directed. Ensuring release forms are signed per provided instruction

 

Requirements:

  • Must have use of a vehicle and a Class-5 License (GDL or non)

  • Age 15+

  • Must be able to handle and lift equipment up to approx. 20lbs

 

No previous experience is necessary. We’re looking for someone with a passion for film and a willingness to learn!
