The Crafted Writer Studio is looking for residents of Fort McMurray from the following ethnic, cultural and racial backgrounds to be featured in a video called the Poetic Tour of Downtown Fort McMurray, funded by Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Video recording will take place at a specific location in downtown Fort McMurray during July or August 2025.

- Black
- Person of Colour (including but not limited to: Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin/Hispanic, Filipino)
Age and Ability: We are also looking to feature a person with disability and a person between the ages of 60 – 80. Any accommodations needed for accessibility will be facilitated to suit the individual’s needs. Please indicate any special considerations you need made.
Terms & Conditions:
- Applicants agree to disclosing their ethnic background for the purpose of the 'call'.
- Applicants understand only selected attendees will be invited to participate.
- Applicants understand the submitting an application does not guarantee a spot as the final 'profiles'
- Selected applicants will be available at a preferred time for the videographer. If scheduling conflict occurs, we will try our best to accommodate any special considerations.
FEE: A compensation fee of $100 will be offered per person on the day of the video recording.
