About

I am an artist originally from the Lacombe area and currently based in Fort McMurray. While I have always had a deep passion for visual expression, my professional background began in nursing. I became a registered nurse in 2016, but after a traumatic incident working in an emergency department, I was diagnosed with PTSD and made the decision to leave the field in 2023. This turning point marked a return to my creative roots, with art becoming a central part of my personal healing process.

My current body of work reflects a journey through trauma, recovery, and self-reclamation. Thematically, it explores the heroine’s path through darkness, a heart-centered resurrection, and the emergence of a more integrated self.

My creative process is intuitive and vision-driven. I work with symbols, color, and composition in ways that feel channeled, often inspired by spiritual themes and universal archetypes. Many pieces incorporate light-encoded elements intended to speak directly to the heart and subconscious.

I work in mixed media, using acrylic paint, epoxy resin, crystals, glitter, and gold flake. These materials allow me to create textured, layered surfaces that evoke both the seen and unseen aspects of the human experience.

Through my work, I hope to offer a space for contemplation and transformation. I aim to inspire the viewer to reconnect with their own inner truth and embrace the complexity of the human experience with sincerity, courage, and compassion.
