About
I am a self-taught stained glass artist based in Fort McMurray, Alberta, with a passion for exploring the possibilities of glass. My work ranges from full window panels and traditional stained glass pieces to sculptural works that combine glass with hand-carved soapstone.
I am continually experimenting with new ideas, materials, and techniques, and I especially enjoy creating work that pushes stained glass beyond the traditional. I also love sharing the craft through stained glass workshops and introducing others to the creative process.
Over the years, I have been honoured to create sculptural awards for several local businesses and community organizations. A pivotal moment in this journey was being commissioned to design and create the Buffy Awards in 2024. The experience and exposure from that project led to additional award commissions within the local community, and I was deeply honored to receive the Buffy Award for Craft in 2025.
Collaboration is another important part of my artistic practice, and I have participated in three large-scale collaborative projects that brought together hundreds of glass artists from around the world.
For me, stained glass is a constantly evolving art form—one that offers endless opportunities to create, experiment, connect, and tell stories through glass.
