About
Anna Pottie is a multidisciplinary artist working across literary, visual, and applied arts. Her practice spans a variety of mediums including mixed-media collage, digital illustration, photography, writing, and more – often blending traditional and digital tools in playful and unexpected ways. Anna’s personal work draws inspiration from music, people, and the everyday quirks of life. Based in Wood Buffalo, she enjoys being part of a supportive arts community and continues to explore new ideas, projects, and ways of seeing the world.
Her art has been featured on the cover of the Arts Council of Wood Buffalo’s 2024 Annual Report, appeared in NorthWord Literary Magazine, and in local exhibitions such as Collective Threads (2025). She also serves on the Boards of the Arts Council of Wood Buffalo and the Northern Canada Collective Society for Writer
Anna continues to expand her creative range through learning from others in the creative space, exploring photography, ceramics, and poetry as ongoing extensions of her evolving practice.
