For Anna Pottie, art is both language and lifeline. As a multidisciplinary artist, she uses creativity to navigate complex emotions and communicate what’s hard to put into words. Her work often carries strong themes and layered narratives, reflecting her own process of making sense of the world.
Anna’s practice continues to evolve alongside the region’s growing arts community. Anna’s collage poetry has been published in Northword Literary Magazine. Her artwork has been featured on the cover of the Arts Council of Wood Buffalo’s 2024 Annual Report and exhibited locally, including the Collective Threads exhibition at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery in 2025.
Anna also serves on the Board of Directors for the Arts Council of Wood Buffalo and The Northern Canada Collective Society for Writers.
