Anna Pottie is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans visual and literacy arts. Rooted in experimentation, play, and material exploration, her work often incorporates found imagery and text, upcycled textiles, embellishments, gems, glitter, glow-in-the-dark elements, and illustration. With a background in graphic design, she brings a strong sense of composition, texture, and visual balance to her work. Some pieces are later transformed through photography and digital editing, creating works that exist between analogue and digital spaces.

Anna’s work has been featured on the cover of the Arts Council Wood Buffalo’s 2025 Annual Report, published in NorthWord Literary Magazine, and shown in local exhibitions including; Collective Threads (2025 + 2026) and Words & Birds Wood Buffalo (2025). She was recently Guest Editor for NorthWord’s Issue 34, themed “Nonsense,” which launched September 26, 2026.

Anna is also actively involved in supporting the local arts and literary community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Northern Canada Collective Society for Writers and Arts Council Wood Buffalo.
