Albert Forsey is a wood sculptor and craftsman based in Fort McMurray, Alberta, and the owner of Forsey’s Woodcraft. Specializing in chainsaw carving and handcrafted wood art, Albert transforms locally sourced timber into unique sculptures, rustic décor, functional pieces, and custom commissions.

Inspired by the boreal forest and the landscapes of northern Alberta, his work often features wildlife, woodland spirits, mushrooms, ravens, bears, and other natural forms. Every carving embraces the character of the wood itself, allowing its grain, shape, and imperfections to become part of the finished piece.

Albert creates custom carvings for homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces, including memorial carvings, garden art, signs, planters, and one-of-a-kind sculptures. His goal is to create pieces that celebrate nature, craftsmanship, and the stories hidden within every tree.
