Resurrecting Your Dead Poems Workshop

Join local author and poet Jamal-e-Fatima Rafat for a creative poetry workshop at Forbidden Chapters that gives favourite book quotes and written passages a new life.

Participants are invited to bring old poems or prose they haven’t looked at in ages, or favourite quotes from a book or author, and give them new life through collage and found poetry. Using existing words and fragments as inspiration, participants will reshape and transform them into new poems.

All supplies are provided, and complimentary refreshments will be available. Dress-up is encouraged but not required.

This workshop is open to participants ages 18+.
