Basant Mela brings community members together to celebrate the vibrant tradition of Basant through kite flying, cultural festivities, and connection. Bring family and friends and watch the Fort McMurray sky fill with colourful kites while enjoying music and food from local vendors.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Kites and strings will be available for purchase at the event, and attendees are encouraged to bring cash for kite supplies and food vendors.
