Journey into the life of Brenda Carter, a brain cancer survivor currently in remission, who found therapy through textile art.
“There is a bit of mystery in the art I create. Fabric collage is like a jigsaw puzzle; it takes time and mental energy to complete. The process can be quite taxing and time-consuming, but it is art, unique in every way imaginable. Textile art has been my therapy throughout some tough times in the last few years. My life journey has become my ‘new normal’.” -Carter
