Description

This piece is acts as a commentary on our ever-increasing sedentary and isolating lifestyles. Created out of digital burnout after the pandemic (please, no more Zoom calls) and the relentless scroll of streaming platforms and social media, the imagery speaks to the fast-food of entertainment and communication we are slowly becoming tired of.

The original was made with magazine clippings, shells, paint, glitter, and glow-in-the-dark paint coming together in a bright, textured, and playful design. Printed on 5×7" matte photo paper, it’s full of detail and color, and re-embellished with gems, glitter and glow-in-the-dark to replicate the original’s dazzle. The TV glows!

‘Remote Learning” is 1 of 3 glow-in-the-dark artworks currently exhibiting at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery in the Collective Threads showcase (August 10 - September 14, 2025).

*Each print is unique and embellishments may vary slightly.
