Description

This handcrafted and incredibly detailed artwork came as a result of a long, dark winter coupled with burnout and mental health challenges. Channeling all that energy into this piece while wallowing in The Cure’s latest album, I was able to create something deeply layered and beautiful. It’s meant to showcase the strength we have to “suck it up” despite the ocean of troubles others can't see us floating in.

The original was made on a canvas with magazine clippings, shells, paint, foil, glitter, and glow-in-the-dark paint coming together in a bright, textured, and playful design. Printed on 8.5×11" matte photo paper, this print is full of detail and color, and re-embellished with gems, glitter paint and glow-in-the-dark paint to capture the magic of the original - ready to pop into your favorite frame!
