This handcrafted and incredibly detailed artwork is came as a result of a long, dark winter coupled with working through some long-time repressed emotions and feelings. Channeling all that energy into this piece while listening to The Cure’s latest album, I was able to create something deeply layered and beautiful - just like life. It’s meant to showcase the strength we have to “suck it up” and keep moving, but also a comment on how bottling it up can lead to an over-all flood.
