A beautiful handmade version of the board game Tak from Patrick Rothfuss's "The Kingkiller Chronicle" book series.  True to how it was imagined in the books, Tak is "simple in its rules, complex in its strategy."

A beautiful game deserves beautiful materials, and this one doesn't disappoint.  The 22 dark pieces are cut from black walnut, and the 22 white pieces are cut from hard maple.  All of these pieces have been waxed to a satin shine.  The board itself is cut from wormy maple, finished in a hardwax oil, and has been laser etched with markings that allow game sizes ranging from 3 x 3 up to 5 x 5.

To complete the beautiful game, you also get a hand sewn drawstring bag perfectly sized to keep your play pieces secure between games.
