Liana Wheeldon

Liana Wheeldon is a graduate of Emily Carr College of Art and Design and is a professional visual artist. Since moving to Fort McMurray in 2009, Liana has been an active volunteer and arts advocate in our community.

Prior to joining Arts Council Wood Buffalo in 2016, Liana’s extensive leadership career was primarily in ‘big box’ retail, as a manager, mentor, and coach. Her introduction to the social profit sector was as the Wood Buffalo Regional Manager administering the Royal Conservatory of Music’s  Learning Through the Arts program in 2014/2015.

In her time away from her responsibilities as ACWB’s Executive Director, Liana maintains an active art practice, and enjoys creating, reading, and traveling. www.lianawheeldon.com
