Family bond is very strong for Doreen so I made her this heart representing the love for them, the blue pieces represent the memories and nostalgia. This piece itself depicts time passing through family generations. Starting from her being a child and her mother holding hands, then her as a mother with her girl and finally her as a grandmother and her grandchild. The motherhood side is fall leaves, autumn change, passing time, maturity. The right side of the child is spring new beginning in life, new energy and hope. Both of them wearing the iconic red dress that is an important part in Doreen’s memories and it represents long lasting love for her family.
