ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When we moved to Fort McMurray in late summer, I had pondered the question about how cold winter would be. When I was talking about this project with my senior, I had a lot of visions of blue. Mostly relating to ice and chilly temperatures. Although there was many cold nights where the temperature was -50, I kept holding onto the idea of spring. This is the hope. Things will bloom again soon. I had to envision the light at the end of the tunnel. The skirt has blues, related to ice/cold, and the pinks and greens represent spring.
