ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is a multimedia collage that was created after a wild conversation with Brenda about arts and the current state of the world. This led me to create a very vibrant and colourful piece that matched her personality which inspired me to go back to my early days of art and graffiti in the era of the 90s and early 2000s. The centrepiece of the faceless person in “Amerycan Graffiti” is symbolic of the artists that pushed the boundaries of illegal art to where the culture currently exists. – Liam Renner
