I have been a textile artist for the past 30 years (rug Hooking). My work has been exhibited at Newfoundland and Nova Scotia’s annual Rug School exhibits and heritage displays. Works are in private collections throughout Canada and the United States. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, sculpture/ print making, from Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, Memorial University, Corner Brook, NL. in 2007. It was there that I learned other mediums of self expression such as mixed media, installation, painting, with my favorite being sculpture and print. I continued to incorporate my love of textiles and sold a piece to then Lieut. Governor of Nl. and Lab. Hon. John Crosbie for inclusion in the art collection at Government House. I received several awards while at school and got to exhibit work at England and France, thanks to Professor, Gerard Curtis. I am now teaching classes in my field of study.
