I wrote my first poem in a post-graduate class for a poetry competition. That was in early 2000. Then a couple of decades passed. I wrote in prose and poetic form from time to time, but never took it seriously until the spring of 2020. I am excited to say that I have enough of a collection that I am self-publishing my debut poetry book.
I have also been writing in my blog more diligently more recently since 2016. Find my book and film reviews, and recent poems written in response to poetry prompts at the Gold Pen Blog on WordPress.
I work with a charitable non-profit that serves children. I live with my husband and a cat in a small town in Northern Alberta, Canada.
