Arts Council Wood Buffalo (ACWB) is currently looking to fill positions on its voluntary Board of Directors. ACWB is a charitable organization with a mandate to build a thriving community through the arts. The Board consists of (up to) eleven members from the Wood Buffalo region, representing different aspects of the business and arts sectors.
The Board of Directors meets as a group six times per year to set the policy and direction of the organization, with the long-term vision of a creatively empowered Wood Buffalo. To continue to meet the needs of our organization and the community, we are seeking Board Director candidates with experience in the following areas: legal or financial management, fund development, board governance. All applications that meet the qualifications listed below will be considered.
Qualifications
All positions will be elected by the Membership at the Arts Council Wood Buffalo Annual General Meeting May 30, 2024, as per ACWB by-laws.
Nominations for Board Director positions will be accepted from the floor at the AGM.
